If you look at the planned calendar for the 705Bundesliga 2009, which was decided last May, the Final match for the league playoffs would be April 19, 2009. There was supposed to be a two week hiatus between semi-finals and finals, for dramatic purposes and because of Easter.
Semi finals were divided up into two weeks, one for each aggregate match, and the same for quarter finals. Basically, this means playoffs would start on March 15, 2009.
Well, now it’s February 1st, and 3 teams only have 3 games played. With only 6 weeks remaining in regular season-104 more games must be played.
To break it down in a simpler form, thats 2.5 games a day. Improbable and highly unlikely.
Is the fun drained? Have we lost our motivation? Should we stop pretending and quit now? Where has the league gone?
